About the Product Making:
The material terracotta is nothing but the refined material from clay. The raw clay has many impurities in it, removing all impurities makes soil soft and smooth clay to make the pot, gives quality finishing and sturdy output. Our pot are fired in traditional method and so the look and feel is good. At Village Decor we design and work with the pottery communities across Tamil Nadu to craft these products from locally sourced natural materials.
Selfing watering terracotta :

Terracotta, terra cotta, or terra-cotta a type of earthenware, is a clay-based unglazed or glazed … It is suitable for use below ground to carry pressurized water (an archaic use), for garden pots or building decoration in many environments,
It is made by of high quality terracotta material, good shape with great durability and water permeability.
Because water seeps through the walls of an unglazed olla by using soil-moisture tension, one can use ollas to irrigate plants.
Use in irrigation :
There are several methods of irrigation. They vary in how the water is supplied to the plants.
The goal is to apply the water to the plants as uniformly as possible, so that each plant has the amount of water it needs, neither too much nor too little.
How to use
STEP 1 : Soak the Dripper/Self Watering in the water for 1 – 2 hours to treat the terracotta .
STEP 2 : After that process placed under the soil only the body of Dripper and close the soil, the top have been open because to fill the water that way only .
STEP 3 : After placing that dripper fully fill the water and close the top of the dripper .
That’s all the Procedure ………
NOTE : A 1600 ml terracotta reservoir can sustain your plant’s watering needs for up to 5-6 days through a self-irrigation system. After 5 -6 days want to fill water into the dipper.
Proccesing :
You simply bury pot into the soil near your plant, only the watering mouth is visible outside, and then you’re good to go and use them to water outdoor plants for you is more green and environmental.
